Abstract

The protein kinase C (PKC)-dependent association between talin and the membrane integrin, LFA-1 in CTL-target conjugates has been studied. Two possible mechanisms for directing talin to the target site are implied for the colocalization of PKC, talin and LFA-1. One is simply by binding to LFA-1 and the other through the localized activation of PKC. These two possibilities are investigated.
