Abstract
Three-dimensional framework material containing Mn(salen)+ units and cyano-Re6Se8 clusters was prepared, and its crystal structure was determined by x-ray crystallography. The compound crystallized in the rhombohedral space group R3c with a = 16.1760(4) Å, c = 44.965(1) Å, V = 10189.3(4) Å3, and Z = 6. In the structure, each anionic cluster, Re6Se8(CN)64- was bridged by six Mn(salen)+ units to form a three-dimensional framework.
