Abstract

A study was performed on thermal electron emission from the hot electronic subsystem of vibrationally cold C60. The photoelectron spectra were fitted and the quasi-Boltzmann behavior of the electron spectra was reproduced. The level densities were related to measured electron energy distributions and showed good agreement with the theoretically calculated ones.
