Abstract
The synthesis of 14C‐labelled cis‐malonato[(4R,5R)‐4,5‐bis(aminomethyl)‐2‐isopropyl‐1,3‐dioxolane]platinum(II) from [1,4‐14C] D‐tartaric acid is described. The overall radiochemical yield of the product in a eight‐step sequence was 23.8% and radiochemical purity was 98.5%.
