Abstract
Immobilized homogeneous chiral catalysts on inorganic supports and their applications to asymmetric catalysis were discussed. Catalytic behaviors of the heterogenized catalysts were usually much more complex than their homogeneous ones, leading to unpredictable and undesirable changes of catalytic properties. In some results where immobilization using inorganic supports positively influenced the catalytic properties, the activity and selectivity increased upon subsequent reuses.
