Abstract
We report some properties of the organic superconductor κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(SCN)2. The pronounced resistance maximum around 100K is very sensitive to the pressure and so is to the synthesizing circumstances. In both cases the suppression of the resistance maximum accompanies with the suppression of Tc. A pressure of 1 kbar was enough to destroy it completely, the pressure coefficient of Tc, dTc/dP = -3.6K/kbar, is the largets of all organic superconductors studied. The larger is the resistance maximum, the lower is the temperature where it finds and the higher is Tc. The resistance anisotropy parallel to transverse ratio does not show any anomaly across the resistance maximum but a clear anomaly around 60K.
