Abstract

We report a Compact Disk (CD)-based SERS platform, which allow simple and effective preconcentration of targeting molecules for SERS signal amplification. The promising capability of the preconcentration is demonstrated using this SERS-CD platform through SERS intensity of rodamine 6G (R6G) with concentrations ranging from 1 μM to 1 nM. In addition to the effective SERS signal amplification via optofluidic CD platform, we introduce a new self-assembly of gold nanoparticles by CuSO4 as an excellent SERS substrate which has both high sensitivity and uniformity.
