Abstract

In this paper, we propose a decision making strategy for energy exchange that can minimize the cost of energy purchase required for electric vehicles in V2G where electric vehicles play a role of mobile power sources in energy grid. By mathematically modeling the energy generation and consumption, inflow of electric vehicles and energy exchange between energy storage systems and electric vehicles, we find the optimal time for energy exchange of electric vehicles, optimal selection of energy storage systems, and optimal amount of energy based on the energy price. Experiment results show that the optimal solutions can minimize the cost of energy purchase and stabilize the energy distribution in V2G.
