Optical properties of holographically generated twisted nematic liquid crystal gratings

Abstract

Reflection holographic configuration is adopted to fabricate an electro-optically tunable twisted nematic liquid crystal grating. The diffraction efficiency is related with the twisted angle and cell thickness. The polarization modulation is described by Stokes parameters.
