NMR observation of critical dynamics in the (TMTSF)2PF6 organic superconductor

Abstract

We have studied the organic superconductor (TMTSF)2PF6 using 1H nuclear magnetic resonance. The spin-lattice (T1) and the spin-spin relaxation time (T2) measurements manifested a divergence associated with a structural phase transition at 160 K.
