Abstract
In this study, we report a mitochondria-anchored, aggregation-induced emission photosensitizer named Kl-CHO. It has the ability to anchor mitochondria for an extended period. When subjected to light irradiation, the reactive oxygen species produced by Kl-CHO disrupt mitochondrial redox homeostasis. This causes mitochondrial dysfunction, which induces pyroptosis and amplifies cellular immunogenic death.
