Abstract
Magnetic susceptibility and superconductivity in exohedral fullerenes are wellknown. Advances in production and purification techniques led to macroscopic amounts of the endohedral metallofullerene LaC82. Laser desorption mass spectroscopy measurements displayed the purity of the material. In this paper we present a de-magnetization investigation of LaC82powder crystals. The magnetic monmnt as a function of temperature shows an overall paramagnetic behaviour. A signal drop can be observed at 30 K (zero field cooled curve).
