Abstract

We present the design and development of a novel integrated microfluidic NASBA array that includes microfluidic dynamic cell culture, cell stimulation, cell labeling, lysis, and real-time Nucleic-Acid-Sequence-Based-Amplification (NASBA) based RNA analysis on a single chip. By multiplexing this integrated functionality the device can be used for high content screening, gene expression profiling, and biomedical diagnostic applications.
