Abstract
The present study devised a method of representing and analyzing the mechanical behavior of fabrics in the clothing care system and examined the mechanical movement under various conditions using simulations and an image analysis program called TEMA Motion-Outline tracker. Through this, we proposed an algorithm to improve dust removal by finding conditions that could optimize the mechanical behavior of fabrics. The complex movement algorithm with various RPM configurations could change the number and location of nodes and antinodes. The algorithm effectively removed the dust at all locations, and the improved performance was also seen for real clothes.
