Abstract
The hydrodynamic model, RMA-2 which is a part of TABS-MD model, was applied to the open-ended Pusan harbor in order to evaluate the change of tidal currents due to the proposed land-reclamation inside the harbor. The model was calibrated and verified with four different measured sets of tidal heights and velocities. The measured data and predicted values agreed well in all cases and the model was used to simulate the change of tidal currents after the construction. The results show that tidal heights did not change after construction while significant change of tidal velocities was detected just near the proposed land reclamation.
