Abstract
In developing high speed video decoder systems such as MPEG I,II, Multimedia or high-definition TV (HDTV), it is essential to have a real time bit-stream data generator. In this paper, a real time bit-stream generator using conventional SCSI-II type harddisk is proposed and their effectiveness is proved in developing the proto-type HDTV system.
