Abstract
Fragmentation behavior of the endohedral metallofullerene was studied using gas phase time-of-flight mass spectrometry. A maximum entropy model was applied to model the fragmentation of mettallofullerene into small lanthanum-carbides and empty fullerenes. The results were found in better agreement with previous experiments involving collisional excitation and fragment detection.
