Abstract

We present the design and characterizations of a novel fast solution exchange microfluidic device for the kinetic analysis of single cells. The lateral cell trapping junctions enable fast hydrodynamic trapping of cells from the bulk cell suspension while adjacent microfluidic injection sites enable fast precise delivery of nano-liter volume of reagents to trapped cells.
