Abstract

In this study, electrochemical experiments were carried out in chloroform using ferrocene (Fc) or anthracene (An). We performed cyclic voltammetry (CV) on Fc and An in chloroform containing either tetrabutylammonium perchlorate (TBAP) or tetrabutylammonium hexafluoro-phosphate (TBAPF6) over the temperature range of 25 to 50°C. The resulting pattern of CVs, half-wave potential (E 1 /2), diffusion coefficient of Fc and An, steady-state current, solution viscosity, and long-term stabilities were studied.
