Abstract
The XY model on small-world networks was studied through the use of the standard Monte Carlo simulation method. At all nonzero values of the rewiring probability P, the finite-temperature transitions were detected by Binder's cumulant, the specific heat, and the order parameter, together with appropriate finite-size scaling forms. The phase transition was shown to be described by the mean-field critical exponents.
