Abstract
The interface trend has been developing from CLI (Command Line Interface) to GUI (Graphic User I nterface) and NUI (Natural User Interface) due to spread of smart media. This can be projected as a big turning point in the opening prelude from the analogue to the digital era. The automobile industry is als o considerably changing with this eventuality. Network function has been built into the car and the thing s that were applied as analogue method at the center fascia, as well as cluster, have been digitalized by r eplacing them with display. The reason of such change is because more functionalities can be applied a nd convenient operation can be provided to the customers who are already accustomed with smart phon es. The automobile was digitalized with diverse modern features and the interface of operating each fun ction turned into a crucial factor. This study aims to research optimized user interface in smart media en vironment by looking at characteristics and components of design change of automobile driver's enviro nment interface due to spread of smart media.
