Abstract

The first complex-bridged cyano-rhenium cluster framework material [Mn(salen)]_4n[Re₆Te₈(CN)₆]_n, with a twodimensional layered structure is prepared by the reaction of a methanol solution of [Mn(salen)]ClO₄ with an aqueous solution of Na₄[Re₆Te₈(CN)₆].
