Abstract

The authors regret the following errors in the article draft mistakenly published in December of 2024:1.Author Ruican Zhong was mistakenly listed as “Ruican Zhang”.2.Author Lee's affiliation is The Information School, not School of Information at University of Washington.3.Ewha Womans University is located in Seoul, South Korea, not Soul.4.In the second paragraph of the introduction, “virtual reality” is now lowercase.5.In the first paragraph of the background section, the “importance of library locals.” has been changed to “importance of local libraries.”6.The title of section 2.3, has been changed from “Virtual reality a tool for co-design” to “Virtual reality as a tool for co-design”.7.In section 2.4, the sentence “empower users and make improvements in people lives”. has been changed to “empower users and make improvements in people's lives””.8.The three instances of “[redacted]” in section 3.1 and one instance in Table 1 have been updated to “VRTality”.9.In section 3.2.1, the word “Northwest” has been changed to “Northwestern U.S.”10.In section 3.2.1, the word “South” has been changed to “Southern U.S.”11.In section 3.2.1, the phrase “the first library site” has been changed to “Site 1”.12.In section 3.2.1, the phrase “sites 2 & 3” has been capitalized to “Sites 2 & 3”.13.In section 3.2.1, [redacted reference] has been replaced with Lee, Björling, McLean, Moreno, & Lee (2024).14.In section 3.2.1, the sentences “Due to a range of pandemic regulations at program sites, site 1 was fully online, site 2 was fully in-person, and site 3 was a hybrid of online and in-person attendance. See Tabl e1 below for all site details.” have been updated to “Due to a range of pandemic regulations at program sites, the co-design program at Site 1 was conducted online, Site 2 was fully in-person, and Site 3 was a hybrid of online and in-person attendance. Teens then offered feedback for the interns who made requested iterations to the VR experience.”17.In Tabel 2, the Phases have been updated as follows: “Familiarity” updated to “Familiarized”; “Initial Coding” updated to “Initial Codes”; “Create Themes” updated to “Created Themes”; “Review Themes” updated to “Reviewed Themes”; “Define Themes” updated to “Defined Themes”.18.In Table 2, “Returned to the raw data to gather more excerpts that related to initial themes” has been updated to “Returned to the raw data and gathered more excerpts that related to initial themes”.19.In Table 2, “As a team, discussed and organize new excerpts, codes” has been updated to “As a team, discussed and organized new excerpts, codes”.20.At the end of section 3.2.3, “site 1” has been capitalized to “Site 1”.21.In section 3.3, “83 h” is updated to “83 hours”, a close parenthesis has been added after “margin notes,” and a space has been added between “2” and “for” to “See Table 2for”.22.In section 4, both instances of “site 1” have been capitalized to “Site 1”.23.In section 4.1, a space has been added before the parenthetical and the text is no longer bolded.
