Abstract
The charge transfer process between C602+ and C60 has been investigated as a function of the collision energy in the range from 200 eV to 3 keV. The electron transfer from the neutral fullerence to the dication occurs at large impact parameters, leading to quasi-elastic collisions and large charge transfer cross sections, approximately four times larger than the geometrical cross section. By comparing the energy dependence of the cross section with the results of a simple theory we get a hint that the charge transfer process is nearly resonant.
