Abstract

Imidazolate-bridged Cu(II)-Zn(II) heterodinuclear and Cu(II)-Cu(II) homodinuclear hydroperoxo complexes are generated in the reactions between imidazolate-bridged heterodinuclear and homodinuclear complexes and H2O2 in the presence of triethylamine base and characterized spectroscopically as reaction intermediate models of Cu,Zn-SOD.
