Abstract
The crystal structure of [Pt(C6H10NO 2)(C5H14N 2)]2(SO 4) with cations in the asymmetric unit was discussed. It was found that the two complex cations which exhibit a square-planar Pt11 coordination were identical. It was observed that steric hindrance increased severly in the case of coordinated complex. Analysis suggests that the transformation of the neutral complex to the cationic complex was induced by the steric interaction.
