title = "Are boys and girls really that different: New Millennium Learner's educational performance",
abstract = "The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there are gender differences in the New Millennium Learners' educational performance. New Millennium Learners (NMLs) refer to those who were exposed to the fastest and newest information and communication technologies as they grew up. These learners are expected to have competencies that are required for the fast changing information society. NMLs' educational performance is defined and measured in terms of cognitive, affective and socio-cultural domains of these competencies. 1,071 students from 40 high schools participated in a nationwide survey in Korea. Multiple group analysis was used to analyze the gender differences of the New Millennium Learners. The findings of this study suggested the fundamental differences between male and female students in a sub-domain of educational performance. The results provided practical strategies to bridge the new trends of gender divide in education.",
