Abstract
Addition of allylic stannanes to C60 takes place under UV-irradiation in benzene as well as benzonitrile to yield the allylic fullerenes, of which the asymmetric version with pinene-derived chiral allylic stannane leads to an enantio-pure fullerene terpenoid.
