Abstract
The 2007 Tacoman Narrows Bridge is being constructed directly parallel to the current Narrows Bridge. The structure will provide three eastbound traffic lanes, shoulders on both sides, and a separate bicycle/pedestrian path. Project construction started in 2002 and the new structure is expected to open in 2007 in a temporary lane configuration.
